Along with free tickets for families and customers, four McCue Mortgage customers also won a free mortgage payment as part of a contest where a winning name was selected after every home run hit by a Rock Cat. The ball games and contests were just a few of the events the company has held this year as part of its 60th anniversary celebration.
In addition to the home run contest, McCue Mortgage customers were selected to throw out the first pitch for each of the three games. Some of the (younger) and hopefully future McCue customers also had the opportunity to go behind the scenes, spending time with the Rock Cats announcers and experiencing first hand the “play by play” action from the broadcast booth.
The homerun contest winners were Barbara Horan and husband Gene (Cromwell), Rick Violette (Bristol), Cristy Jackson (New Britain) and Mary Kenney (Middletown). All will receive a free mortgage payment, courtesy of McCue Mortgage.
